While I've always had a knack for organization, the Ultimate Garage Sale Printables made me look incredible at my (somewhat disorganized) friend's Moving Sale. I came in the door with checklists and schedules, and while I gave credit where credit is due, she still insists on viewing ME as her hero.
Past garage and yard sales have made money for her, but she was really pleased at how smoothly things went, and how people stayed longer and bought more when directed to their areas of interest. One would think it would be just the opposite, encouraging folks to get their favorite items and go, but she found it was just the opposite. The category signs (and your suggestion to serve refreshments --- placed at the BACK of the house on the other side of her sales items) to be game changers.
